More than two-thirds of C-level executives now say that maintaining culture and engagement and employee mental health and well-being are a top priority.
Dave’s diverse background and unique combination of skills form an expertise on the use of humor as a critical asset in addressing these challenges.
He was trained in professional comedic improvisation, has decades of experience directing and acting in musical comedies, and was a humor columnist for Chicago Lawyer magazine.
Dave is the former mayor of one of Illinois’ largest municipalities and was recognized nationally on Good Morning America for his creative humor in putting “In the Naaaame of Love” and other fun sayings under his community’s stop signs. He was also chosen to play a humorous judge for a season of a national network television show.
As a widowed father of four young children, Dave knows first-hand the power of humor to lift at the most stressful, challenging times in our lives, all captured in his hysterical but poignant book Home School Hell with Saint Corona Up to Bat. He is also the co-author of The Leadership Renaissance.
As an employment lawyer and litigator, Dave also offers invaluable insight into the workplace setting.
